The limited edition Android handset comes with a design to resemble the iconic Astromech Droid from the Star Wars saga and will be packaged in a custom box-like carbonite.The R2-D2 DROID comes with a media dock Star Wars and wired stereo headset. Based on Motorola Droid 2, this special edition is pre-loaded with R2-D2 sounds notification and ringtones, wallpapers four live, R2-D2 Clock Widget, "The Best of R2-D2" video with original music and exclusive Cantina Binoculars App.
The R2-D2 DROID Motorola will be available from Verizon Wireless for $ 249 after $ 100 mail-in rebate with a two-year contract to new customers.
