The recently launched HP Pavilion series built G-Class consumer budget notebooks are now available with AMD processors.
Previously Intel-only series now includes the Vision AMD-branded Pavilion G4, G6, G7 and pre-configured models like the G4 1015dx, G6 and G7 1a60us 1075dx, all with dual-core AMD CPUs and Radeon 4250 integrated Graphic.
AMD-based laptops are cheaper than their counterparts used Intel, but the prices are very similar in this case. For example, the 15.6-g6 1a60us with the AMD Athlon P360 2.3GHz, 4GB RAM, 320GB HDD, and a cost of $ 530.94 (Amazon), while the G6 1a69us with faster Intel Core 2 i3-380M , 53 CPU, 4 GB RAM and a larger 500 GB hard drive for $ 549.99 (HP) to find.
However, the benefit of AMD models could better graphics performance of the Radeon 4250, if found on Intel's integrated HD GPUs compared to currently available g pavilions.
